Capable of destroying entire planets, the Death Star was considered the Empires ultimate weapon. After the first Death Star was completed, its plans were stolen by Rebel spies to find a weakness and exploit it. This lead to the capture of Princess Leia and ultimately the destruction of Alderaan.
