Precision Engineering, Relentless Output

Every component of the HKM-203091 is chosen for one purpose: to deliver uncompromising performance across the most demanding landscapes. From the high‑voltage architecture to the forged frame, this machine redefines what an electric off‑road motorcycle can achieve.

  • 8000W Brushless Hub Motor – Instant torque delivery with over 85 Nm of rotational force. The direct‑drive architecture eliminates belts and chains, reducing maintenance while maximizing efficiency. Accelerates from 0 to 31 mph (50 km/h) in under 4.5 seconds, giving you the surge needed to clear steep inclines and loose gravel.
  • 72V 35Ah Lithium‑Ion Power Core – Built with automotive‑grade 21700 cells and a smart Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors temperature, voltage, and charge balance in real time. The sealed pack withstands vibration and light moisture, delivering consistent power from 100% down to 5% charge.
  • Forged 6061 Aluminum Frame – Aerospace‑grade aluminum alloy, heat‑treated and precision‑welded, yields an exceptionally stiff yet lightweight backbone. Tipping the scales at just 128 lbs (58 kg) net weight, the chassis offers a remarkable strength‑to‑weight ratio while supporting up to 441 lbs (200 kg) of rider and cargo.

Chassis & Suspension Dynamics

Engineered for confidence on unpredictable surfaces, the HKM-203091 integrates a fully adjustable suspension system and oversized hydraulic disc brakes, ensuring control and safety when the terrain turns hostile.

  • Inverted Front Fork & Rear Monoshock – 200 mm of travel front and rear, with compression and rebound damping adjustments. Dial in the exact feel for rock gardens, whoops, or high‑speed desert tracks. Progressive linkage keeps the rear wheel planted during aggressive acceleration.
  • Hydraulic Disc Brakes (4‑Piston Front, 2‑Piston Rear) – 203 mm rotors deliver fade‑resistant stopping power, modulated by a sensitive brake‑by‑wire lever feel. Whether descending a shale slope or stopping on wet pavement, the system provides consistent, predictable bite.
  • All‑Terrain Tire Set (19" Front / 18" Rear) – Knobby tread pattern optimized for loose dirt, mud, and hardpack. The puncture‑resistant casing and reinforced sidewalls shrug off trail debris, while the large contact patch inspires confidence at lean angles up to 48°.

Intelligent Control & Connectivity

Stay informed and in command. The HKM-203091’s digital ecosystem translates complex vehicle data into actionable insights, while ride‑by‑wire throttle mapping adapts to your style.

  • 4.3" Sunlight‑Readable LCD Meter – Displays real‑time speed, battery percentage, remaining range, trip odometer, motor temperature, and selected ride mode. Automatic brightness adjustment ensures legibility from direct sun to deep twilight.
  • Three Ride Modes – Eco (extended range), Sport (balanced response), and Turbo (maximum power). Switch on the fly via a handlebar‑mounted selector. Turbo mode unlocks the full 8000W output for steep climbs and rapid overtakes.
  • Regenerative Braking & Smart Throttle – When coasting or braking, the motor reverses to recapture kinetic energy, feeding it back to the battery. The ride‑by‑wire throttle provides smooth, jerk‑free modulation for precise control on technical terrain.

Why the HKM‑203091 Leads the Pack

In a market crowded with compromises, the HKM‑203091 stands out through a no‑shortcuts philosophy. We compared it against typical 3000W–5000W electric dirt bikes and identified where it truly excels.

  • Double the Power Density – With 8000W on tap, the HKM‑203091 delivers nearly twice the peak output of most competing bikes at similar price points. This translates to steeper climb capabilities (up to 40° inclines) and faster acceleration, even with a full load.
  • True 72V Architecture – Many budget models use 48V or 60V systems that sag under load. The 72V nominal platform maintains higher voltage stability, reducing current draw and heat buildup during sustained high‑speed runs. The result: more consistent performance from start to finish.
  • Rider‑First Ergonomics – The slim waist and flat seat profile allow easy weight shifting, while the wide handlebar and grippy footpegs keep you locked in during aggressive maneuvers. Unlike converted mountain bikes, the HKM‑203091 is purpose‑built for off‑road motorcycling, with a ground clearance of 11.8 inches (300 mm).
  • Lower Total Cost of Ownership – Zero gasoline, minimal drivetrain wear, and regenerative braking extend service intervals dramatically. The brushless motor is virtually maintenance‑free, and the battery is rated for 800+ charge cycles before dropping to 80% capacity. Over 5 years, the HKM‑203091 can save thousands compared to gas‑powered alternatives.

Frequently Asked Questions

Real‑world range depends on rider weight, speed, terrain, and temperature. In Eco mode at a steady 37 mph (60 km/h) on flat pavement, expect up to 75 miles (120 km). In mixed off‑road conditions with elevation changes, a typical range is 45–60 miles (72–96 km). Aggressive Turbo mode riding reduces range further but still delivers 40+ miles (64+ km).
Using the included 72V 5A smart charger, a full charge from empty takes approximately 6 to 8 hours. The charger automatically switches to trickle mode once the battery reaches 100%, preventing overcharging. Partial charges are safe and do not harm the cells.
The HKM‑203091 carries an IP54 rating for the battery pack, motor, and main wiring harness. This means it is protected against splashing water from any direction and is dust‑resistant. Riding in light rain or through shallow puddles is fine, but submersion should be avoided. Always dry the bike after wet rides and inspect connectors.
Regulations vary by region. In many areas, electric bikes with a top speed exceeding 28 mph (45 km/h) may be classified as mopeds or motorcycles. Please check your local laws regarding licensing, registration, and helmet requirements before riding on public roads. The HKM‑203091 is primarily designed for off‑road use.
The brushless motor needs no oil changes or air filter replacements. Routine upkeep includes checking brake pads, tire pressure, chain or belt tension (if applicable), and periodically inspecting bolts for proper torque. The suspension pivots should be lubricated every 500 miles (800 km). The battery benefits from being stored at 50–80% charge in cool, dry conditions.

Easy to use/see
My eyesight is bad enough I cant use my cellphone at all without glasses. The clean display face and awesome backlight on this mean I can see the time any time of day or night without my glasses or a light. Super simple to use: Pull out the plastic protector on the crown Pull the crown out 1 click to set/back in when done Push on the crown for a REALLY good back light

Almost the perfect watch
Color: Black/Blue
I have owned three earlier models of these things going back to the days when I actually ran road races. They are brilliant pieces of work. My only complaint of them was that the start/stop/split button(s)--there were two on the older models--were too small. Well, apparently Timex listens and the two small buttons are now combined into one larger one. Probably this was done years ago but I'm only now getting back into road work, so now I get to discover it. The perfect watch? Almost. I especially like this model as my eyes are not what they used to be and the oversized face makes it easier to read. The downside to this is that it also makes the crystal easier to scratch. That's always been an issue, but I can live with it. No, the real problem with this product is, was, and apparently ever shall be, the band. Now, it could be worse, it could be a resin band (like the old ones) that will crack and break within a couple of years, but no, this is a nylon and velcro wrap style which should be just dandy, but for three glitches: 1. it's too short 2. it's too narrow (gee whiz, Timex designers, it's an oversized watch, why not a matching oversized band?) and 3. it's still resin where it attaches to the actual watch. Now, I imagine it's probably less prone to breakage in how it's implemented, but if you should choose to replace it, I can see no obvious way of removing it short of cutting it off. Really? But these are minor complaints. I doubt it would be comfortable on anyone whose wrists are much bigger than my own, but replacement bands are everywhere, and this watch will keep time with style and it's brilliant at splits. Heck, it even functions admirably as a backup for my expensive stopwatches at our regular short track stock car events. For my money (and did I mention the price is wonderful?) the Ironman is still the best at what it does, and for what it can do.

Good hard use watch.
Color: Black/Silver-Tone
Review Calibration: 3 stars means it works as advertised, nothing special during use, and no amazing features. Higher stars mean better-than-expected performance and features. This is 5 stars because it is my favorite work/hard-use watch. I have been wearing one for years, and like all Timex watches, it can take a beating. I have to replace it when the band's ears get so damaged that they won't hold the band on. This has more to do with the plastic's lifespan than with a design issue. I am hard on watches. This watch normally lasts ne 7-10 years between replacements.
