Two kinds of caffeine plus alpha yohimbine in an easy capsule

Mythical Nutrition Unicorn Energy is a stim-heavy capsule that's all about quick energy, mental sharpness, and that thermogenic kick, not so much pumps, endurance, or fully open-label dosing for sports. The idea here is to mix multiple stims with some solid cognitive and adaptogenic helpers to give you a bigger boost than a plain caffeine pill. Bottom line, it's made to make you feel more awake, more driven, and ready to dive into a workout or tough work stretch fast.

The vitamins are basic but solid. Vitamin C at 150 mg is there as an antioxidant to fight off free radicals, not as the main performance booster. Vitamin B12 at 500 mcg is way over daily needs and helps with energy metabolism and nerve function, but it won't feel like a stim unless you're low on it. It's a nice add, but not why this product delivers.

The stimulants are the real deal. Caffeine anhydrous is the go-to for waking up your central nervous system, cutting down how tired you feel, and ramping up your drive in the gym. Caffeine citrate absorbs quicker, so pairing them probably gives you a fast start instead of a slow build. The downside? No individual caffeine doses listed, so you can't check the total against what works for you, like 100-200 mg for lighter users or 200-350+ mg for those who go hard.

AMPiberry, from juniper berries, shows up in stim formulas for energy and metabolic support via AMPk. It's not caffeine, but it might team up with stims for better output and fat-loss vibes. Ginkgo biloba extract is commonly inclu

Mythical Unicorn Energy by Mythical Nutrition contains 250mg Vitamin C, a clinical dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • Two caffeine types — this has caffeine anhydrous and caffeine citrate instead of just one. That setup usually means quicker, more obvious energy, with anhydrous handling the main stim work and citrate giving that fast upfront hit.
  • Alpha yohimbine from Rauwolfia vomitoria — this isn't a mild energy boost. Alpha yohimbine is one of the stronger ingredients out there, often linked to more drive, heat, and less hunger if you handle it okay.
  • Capsule ease — just one capsule per serving beats most powder pre-workouts. No mixing, no shaker, no full belly before you train, which is huge if you're always on the go or hate that sloshy feeling.
  • Vitamin B12 at 500 mcg — that's a big dose over what you need daily, helping with nerve function and energy turnover. It won't stand in for caffeine, but it's a smart fit in an energy product.
  • Vitamin C at 150 mg — a real antioxidant amount, not just a tiny bit. It's not the star here, but it adds some basic support in a stim-focused setup.
  • AMPiberry added — not super common in basic energy caps, AMPiberry targets metabolic support via AMPk. It makes this feel more geared for workouts and body goals than a random energy pill.
  • Ginkgo biloba plus Panax ginseng — these are old-school picks for brain power and fighting fatigue. In a stim mix, they help make the energy feel useful and focused, not just amped up.
  • Fulvic acid from OxyGold — a cool extra you don't see in simple caffeine stuff. It's often for better nutrient delivery and cell support, making this more than a basic stim cap.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned gym rats who handle high stims and want capsules over tubs and shakers. Dual caffeines and alpha yohimbine are for chasing drive, focus, and intensity, not pumps.
  • Early risers hitting weights before full wake-up. Fast kick from caffeine anhydrous and citrate fits quick energy needs without a whole drink.
  • Cardio fans cutting who need energy and hunger help for walks, HIIT, or fasted sessions. Caffeine, AMPiberry, Rauwolfia vomitoria lean toward output and heat over max strength or size.
  • Hustling pros needing one thing for workouts and work grinds. Ginkgo biloba, Panax ginseng, B12 add productivity, with stims strong for pre-training too.
  • Folks who hate sloshy pre-drinks. One capsule is simple, light, easy on the go, still packing a stim punch.
  • Travelers or shift workers wanting no-mix energy. Capsules are easy, and this hits harder than corner-store stuff.

How to Use

Take 1 capsule with water 20-30 minutes before training, cardio, or brain work. With hidden caffeine anhydrous, caffeine citrate, and alpha yohimbine from Rauwolfia vomitoria, start low and skip other stims for the first try. Capsules need no mixing, but drink up—full glass and keep hydrated. Fasted training? This works well and feels strong; stim-sensitive? Try after a snack to ease it, though it might slow the kick. Don't mix with other yohimbine, synephrine, DMHA, DMAA, or big caffeine. For full pre, add creatine and maybe stim-free pumps. Use on key days, not all day every day, to keep tolerance down. Store cool and dry, away from heat or wet, as capsules can break down.

What to Expect

First 10-15 minutes, you notice how easy it is: one cap, no fuss, no heavy gut. By 15-30 minutes, stims should ramp up with caffeine boosting alertness and alpha yohimbine maybe adding warmth and urgency. 30-60 minutes is peak for workouts or cardio: locked in, motivated, less hungry if cutting. 60-120 minutes, it holds based on your tolerance, more energy than pumps or stamina. Days 1-7, figure out how it hits you, especially the Rauwolfia. Weeks 2-4, no big strength or endurance gains since no loading ingredients. Tolerance might soften the edge if you use it too often.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Mythical Nutrition Unicorn Energy?

The exact caffeine total is not disclosed on the label. We know it contains both caffeine anhydrous and caffeine citrate, but because this is a proprietary blend, the total milligrams of caffeine per capsule cannot be verified from the available panel.

Why does Unicorn Energy use both caffeine anhydrous and caffeine citrate?

This dual-source approach is typically used to create a faster, more noticeable onset than a single caffeine source alone. Caffeine anhydrous is the classic sports-nutrition stimulant, while caffeine citrate is often used when formulators want a quicker-feeling rise in stimulation.

Is Unicorn Energy a pre-workout or a fat burner?

It sits closer to a high-stim hybrid energy/fat-burner capsule than a full-spectrum pre-workout. The formula emphasizes stimulants, alpha yohimbine, and metabolic support, but it does not include disclosed pump ingredients, creatine, or endurance dosing.

Is this good for beginners?

No, this is not an ideal beginner formula. The combination of undisclosed caffeine plus Rauwolfia-derived alpha yohimbine makes it better suited to experienced users who already know they tolerate aggressive stimulants well.

What does the Rauwolfia vomitoria extract do in this formula?

Rauwolfia vomitoria standardized for alpha yohimbine is included to intensify energy, thermogenesis, and appetite suppression. It can make the formula feel significantly harder-hitting than caffeine alone, but it also increases the risk of jitters, anxiety, and elevated heart rate in sensitive users.

Can I stack Unicorn Energy with coffee or another pre-workout?

That is not recommended unless you already know your tolerance extremely well. Since the total caffeine and alpha yohimbine amounts are undisclosed, adding more stimulants can push the experience from effective to excessive very quickly.

What should I stack with Unicorn Energy if I want a more complete workout formula?

The smartest stack is a separate creatine monohydrate product and, if desired, a stim-free pump formula. Unicorn Energy handles stimulation well, but it does not provide disclosed doses of the classic performance ingredients used for strength, endurance, or nitric oxide support.

Will this help with appetite control during a cut?

Many users would expect that from this profile. Caffeine and alpha yohimbine are both commonly associated with reduced appetite and increased training drive during fat-loss phases, although individual response can vary.

Why is the formula harder to assess than a full-disclosure label?

Because the key actives are hidden inside a proprietary blend, you cannot compare individual doses to published research ranges. That makes it impossible to know whether ingredients like ginkgo, ginseng, AMPiberry, or OxyGold are clinically meaningful or included in small label-appeal amounts.

Does Vitamin B12 make this product feel more energizing right away?

Not in the same way caffeine does. B12 supports normal energy metabolism and nervous system function, but the immediate effect you feel from Unicorn Energy is driven primarily by the stimulant blend, not the vitamin component.

Easy Set Up and Great Sound Distribution
Style: AVR-X3800H
I replaced an old Onkyo 535 with this Denon. It was a significant upgrade. There is zero noise, the Bluetooth is easy to use and provides excellent sound, and the HDMI circuitry is outstanding. The eARC capability is compatible with 2.1 HDMI, and it works seamlessly. Of note, I really like the way it provides the best sound configuration automatically for each source, and I don't have to switch around to find the best sound option. For example, if the source is compatible with Atmos, it provides Atmos. If it's only compatible with Dolby surround, it switches to that. Finally, the distribution of sound is superb. I have a 7.1 speaker configuration of mostly mid-level speakers, and the Denon uses them to their fullest. Rear sounds come clearly from the rear...same with each side, etc. And most of all, I don't have to tweak the system to get that. I just used the provided microphone and ran the set up (which was really easy), and I have really great sound. This unit is a good value.

Expensive, but nice
Style: AVR-X4800H
I previously owned a Denon AVR-2808ci since 2008. That model's remote control didn't work well, and all controls were unnecessarily convoluted, so I was hesitant to buy another Denon. The thing that made me give them another chance is that the sound quality was nice, and I was hoping their engineers learned from their mistakes. I'm glad I gave them the chance. This new model, the AVR-X4800H, also has excellent sound quality; however, unlike the old one I had, the controls on both the receiver itself, and especially on the remote control, are significantly improved. The controls are intuitive, and everything works perfectly. That alone made me happy with the purchase; however, the ability to run 4k @ 120 hz for video gaming, and with extra HDMI ports they have here, all added to that value quite a bit. Then, in addition to that, the old model I had ran super hot. In fact, so hot, from just basic usage, it fried itself three different times in the span of a couple weeks (during the winter time), and it kept being repaired under warranty, until they replaced the top grate with one that allows more ventilation. However, this new model doesn't appear to suffer from that same issue. It gets pretty warm, but nowhere near what the old one did -- and I'm using the same Bose Surround Sound system with the new one. That said, as a precaution, I went ahead and ordered an AC Infinity AirCom to put on top of it, to assist with cooling/ventilation, which has worked wonderfully as well. No the tempts on this Denon AVR have never gone above 87 deg, even on a warm room on the third floor during the late spring / summer time. The other hesitancy I had was the price tag. I only purchased it because it was on a "25% discount", from $2500 down to around $1850. Granted, it was similar when I purchased the other one 15 years ago, but it's just an awful lot of money, in my humble opinion. I would say it was borderline on whether I would buy it for this amount, and if it went up at all, I wouldn't have purchased it. I may not purchase it again for this price, especially if I have one already that is working well -- it was only the wonky one that I already owned, that I just wanted to get rid of, that put more pressure to give them one more chance. With a working device, I probably wouldn't pay these prices again. But, if it were a few hundred dollars cheaper, then I probably would buy it again. Hopefully this helps someone. It's a great device, just a bit expensive. And, if you get it, I would still recommend getting a top cooling fan for it.

Solid Next-Generation AVR.
Style: AVR-X2800H
I bought this for my 2.1 system used for TV (4K with 120 Hz), movies, video games (4K with 120 Hz), turntable, and digital audio. I have previously used Denon, Marantz, and NAD AVRs. I was using an old NAD without HDMI, and I really wanted everything to synch up. I tried out a stereo receiver since I am only running a 2.1, but I didn't mesh for me. It was fine, but I felt it was lacking especially around multi-channel audio and the lack of an LFE output for the sub. The 2800H was very intuitive and easy to set up right out of the box. Hooked up to a TV, it runs through everything step-by-step. After the initial setup, I downloaded and ran a firmware update. When I finally got to use my ears, the sound was already superior to what I had from the mid-2000s 60-watt-per-channel NAD AVR with an external Bluetooth/DAC and PCM cable from the TV AND the brand-new, 2023 model HDMI-equipped stereo receiver (that cost me more than the 2800H). After running Audyssey, the sound only got better. Then, I set up my 2 front speakers on a bi-amp setting, utilizing two of my unused channels to drive my woofer and tweeter with discrete power sources. The eARC and settings makes turning on my TV, PS5, and AVR easier and quicker. I enjoy the fact that I can use any remote to fix the volume so there is always a remote close when we need a quick mute or change in the volume. I find the HEOS app to be a little clunky, but I am loving it anyway. I can run high-definition audio through streaming, which is a huge improvement from using Apple Airplay 2 or Bluetooth. It also lets me talk on the phone, send and receive messages, etc. without interrupting the music. Right now, I am still tweaking my settings, but I can definitely say that the sound is really good. Have I heard better? Sure. This isn't an 11-channel receiver with Dirac, a 200 watt-per-channel, high-end "audiophile"-grade component, or a tube amp. It is best at multi-channel audio and does really well for music, especially with a good set of speakers and quality sub with parametric EQ. My speakers have are low sensitivity (84dB), and the 2800H puts out enough grunt to listen give nuance and life to music in listening position, to bump the music to listen in my kitchen two rooms over, or watch at theater-level volume in my medium-sized living room with 8-foot ceilings. This thing is getting daily use, and it is more than enough to get the job done in style. For what I need, the 2800H is spot on.

High-Quality Wire That’s Worth Every Foot
Size: 14/2 AWG-200 FT, Color: White
The GEARit 14 Gauge Speaker Wire (200 ft, CL2 rated) has been a great addition to my home audio setup. The 14 gauge thickness feels solid and gives me confidence that I’m getting good signal transfer without unnecessary loss, even over long runs. The CL2 rating is a big plus — it’s reassuring to know this cable is safe and approved for in-wall installation if I ever decide to run speakers through the walls rather than on the surface. What I like most: Flexible yet strong — easy to pull through studs and around corners Clear polarity markings — no guesswork when wiring speakers Smooth insulation — doesn’t snag or tangle while measuring and cutting Good value for 200 ft — plenty to cover multiple rooms or channels Whether you’re doing a DIY install or upgrading your audio system, this speaker wire delivers solid performance and peace of mind. Highly recommended!
