Victron M8 Circular Connector Male/Female 3 Pole Cable Pair for BMS Communication Extension

Reliable Signal Integrity for Victron Lithium Smart and NG Battery Systems

Maintaining precise communication between your Victron Lithium Smart or NG batteries and the Battery Management System (BMS) is critical for safe, efficient energy storage. The Victron M8 Circular Connector Male/Female 3 Pole Cable Pair provides a purpose-built solution to extend BMS communication cables, ensuring uninterrupted data transfer across your installation. Supplied as a bag of two cables, this pair allows you to bridge longer distances between battery modules or between the battery bank and a Smart BMS or NG BMS without compromising signal quality.

Engineered for Demanding Off-Grid and Mobile Installations

Whether you're installing a caravan solar system, a marine battery bank, or a remote off-grid power setup, physical space and cable management can be challenging. This cable pair, available in a 5m length, offers the flexibility to position components optimally while maintaining a clean, professional layout. The durable black insulation and moulded connector bodies provide excellent resistance to oil, UV exposure, and moisture, making them suitable for engine rooms, exterior compartments, and harsh Australian conditions.

  • Secure M8 circular connectors with screw-locking for vibration-proof connections
  • 3-pole configuration matched to Victron BMS communication requirements
  • Male-to-female extension design for simple plug-and-play installation
  • Bag of two cables provides a spare or enables dual extensions
  • Flexible, durable jacket rated for the temperature ranges found in battery compartments

Why BMS Communication Reliability Matters

In a Victron lithium battery system, the BMS continuously monitors cell voltages, temperatures, and state of charge. Any interruption or corruption of this data can trigger unnecessary protection modes, reduce charging efficiency, or, in extreme cases, lead to cell imbalance. By using cables designed and tested for this specific application, you minimise the risk of intermittent connections that can be difficult to diagnose. The gold-plated contacts inside each M8 connector maintain low contact resistance over thousands of mating cycles, preserving signal integrity for the long term.

Simple Integration with Victron Smart and NG Battery Systems

These cables are compatible with Victron Lithium Smart batteries when used with a Smart BMS, and with Victron Lithium NG batteries when used with an NG BMS. Installation is straightforward: connect the male end of the extension cable to the existing communication port, and the female end to the next battery or BMS unit. No special tools or crimping are required, reducing setup time and the potential for wiring errors.

For larger battery banks where multiple modules are spaced apart, using these extension cables helps maintain a tidy installation without straining the original wiring harnesses. The 5m length is ideal for bridging gaps between batteries or between the battery bank and BMS, giving you the reach needed without excessive slack.

Built to Last in Australian Conditions

From the corrosive salt air of coastal marine installations to the vibration and dust of outback tracks, these cables are built to endure. The overmoulded connector bodies seal out moisture and contaminants, while the flexible cable jacket resists cracking even after repeated flexing. This durability translates to fewer maintenance visits and greater confidence in your system's uptime.

Complete Your Victron Energy System with Confidence

When extending the communication backbone of your Victron lithium battery system, trust components that are engineered to work together seamlessly. Order the Victron M8 Circular Connector Male/Female 3 Pole Cable Pair today and ensure your BMS has the reliable connection it needs to protect your investment and maximise performance.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
