1908 MESSINA EARTHQUAKE MEDAL
December 28, 1908 from about 5:20 to 5:21 am an earthquake of 7.2 rs occurred centered on the city of Messina, in Sicilly. Reggio Callabria on the Italian mainland also suffered heavy damage.
The ground shook for some 30 to 40 seconds, and the destruction was felt within a 300 km radius. Moments after the earthquake, a 40-foot (12 m) tsunami struck nearby coasts causing even more devastation. 93% of structures in Messina were destroyed and some 70,000 residents were killed. Rescuers searched through the rubble for weeks, and whole families were still being pulled out alive days later, but thousands remained buried there. Buildings in the area had not been constructed for earthquake resistance, having heavy roofs and vulnerable foundations.
Malta also suffered from an earth tremor and was then hit by a tidal wave caused by the Messina earthquake. The King of Italy sought help from Britain and a Field Ambulance section of RAMC (Royal Army Medical Corps) with two members of the QAIMNS (Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service) and a Stationary Hospital were transported to Messina in Sicily by the Royal Navy. They took with them ten days supplies and rations.
Once in Sicily the RAMC and the Queen Alexandra's Sisters cared for survivors of the Earthquake on board HMS Minerva and HMS Duncan which were set up as dressing stations. A Stationary Hospital was set up in nearby Catona in what was a market place on the 2 January 1909. The QAs worked with two volunteer nurses from Malta until the 15 January 1909 when all four nurses returned to Malta. There is more written about the Messina Sicily Earthquake 1908 in the book Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps (Famous Regts. S) by Juliet Piggott..
YOU WILL RECEIVED THE SAME COIN AS PICTURED.
ALL COINS ARE AUTHENTIC AS DESCRIBED.

good value for the money
Color: Blue
I love it.... I have used almost everyday since it came.... the ease in the loading a hat is great. The quality seems to be good, it doesn't take up much room and looks great. The pressure takes care of itself and I don not have to do anything. I believe the value is well worth the money.

Amazing product!
Set name: Sublimation Printer, Set name: Sublimation Printer
All I can say is "WOW". I was skeptical about changing over from my Sawgrass to another brand of sublimation printers. But now I wish I started here from the start! Not only does this machine cost a good amount less with the same paper sizes and options as my SG500 but the ink is cheaper per cartridge and 11ml larger than the standard 30ml I am use to. Set up was super easy, as well as the connection. My prints are bold, bright, and beautiful. I am amazed! I am thankful that the details in the prints show through no matter what material I am pressing on. As a business owner, I need a good, efficient printer that doesn't cost more than the product I am selling. I can't wait to continue using my machine. I have not run into any maintenance issue and can not speak on anything of that as of now. Attached photos; however, my camera did not do it justice.

Good image quality
Set name: Sublimation Printer
Has good print quality and has worked well. I like the tray paper feed for regular size and that I can use the back paper feed set up for my mug sized sublimation paper.
I had considered converting an ink jet to a sublimation, but for a little more decided to try this. Glad I did.
Set up was pretty easy and I'm happy with the color quality and accuracy. I wasn't sure when I first saw the print out, but once the sublimation was doen, it was great.
