The cool climate region provides warm days and cool nights during the ripening period, which helps retain natural acids in the wine.

Winemaking
The shiraz was fermented in three batches inspired from Northern Rhone styles wines. In each of the three batches a small addition of white Northern Rhone varietals Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne. the batches were fermented, pressed then barrelled separately before being blended just prior to bottling.
