Offering unbeatable power that fits nicely in the palm of your hand, the Daiwa Saltiga Jigging Star Drag Conventional Reels are the perfect compact choice for a variety of lighter jigging applications. These reels are specially equipped to excel in jigging applications. They feature all the great features of the original Saltiga Star Drag, but up the ante in terms of power and performance by adding Hyper Drive Design to the mix. To push the envelope in fluidity and winding power, Daiwa's new Hyper Drive Design concept takes a four-pronged approach that includes redesigned gearing for a smoother and more efficient transfer of power, along with enhanced support features to resist torque and preserve internal alignment. Daiwa's signature MagSeal technology works to protect the reels internals from water, dirt, and dust intrusion, ensuring long term optimal performance. These jigging reels feature an oversized T-bar handle for additional fighting leverage when winching tough reef fish out of their lairs.
