Straight-up fermented L-Tyrosine, fully labeled and easy to stack

NutraBio L-Tyrosine Pure Grade Amino Acid keeps it simple with just one ingredient: free-form L-tyrosine in a clean, fully labeled powder, no fillers or extras. That's key because tyrosine isn't for throwing into a big mix. It's a specific amino that helps with brain chemical support, perfect for custom stacks when you need better focus, stress handling, or sharp thinking during workouts without relying on heavy stims.

L-tyrosine is the building block for catecholamines like dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. In real life, that means it helps with staying alert, motivated, attentive, and handling stress. That's why you see it in nootropic and pre-workout products with caffeine: caffeine ramps up those chemicals, and tyrosine gives your body the raw stuff to make more. The combo makes sense on paper, even if there aren't direct studies just on L-tyrosine plus caffeine in the data we have.

With 500 mg per serving, it's a solid starting point that's easy to adjust. That's lower than the 2g or even 10g doses in some studies, like ones on alertness during tough tasks or staying warm in the cold. Other research used up to 150 mg/kg for exercise but didn't boost endurance in cyclists. Bottom line: L-tyrosine isn't a surefire win for longer workouts, and 500 mg isn't a huge dose compared to big-study amounts. But it's great for mixing in stacks and dialing in your own amount. Since this is a pure powder

NutraBio L-Tyrosine by NutraBio contains 500mg L-Tyrosine (fermented), a clinical dose for muscle recovery and growth.

Key Highlights

  • 500 mg fermented L-Tyrosine per scoop — that's a clean hit of this amino that supports brain chemicals for focus. Great for folks who want targeted help without getting stuck in a stim mix or big nootropic blend.
  • Free-form amino setup — not the kind tied up in food proteins. This free-form version is easy to measure, stack, and use for pre-workout or brain-boost needs.
  • Totally clear single-ingredient label — just one active with its dose, no secret blends. In a world where tyrosine hides in 'focus complexes,' this lets you know exactly what you're getting.
  • Smart 500 mg serving — not the massive doses from studies, but perfect for tweaking your intake. Works well for newbies, caffeine pairers, or pros who like to ramp up carefully.
  • Fermented source — it's called out on the label, not some vague stuff. Fits for people wanting clean, veggie-friendly aminos without junk.
  • 300 servings in the tub — made for everyday use and fine-tuning your stacks. Gives you flexibility for regular days, gym sessions, or extra-tough times instead of just a few big hits.
  • Pairs great with caffeine — caffeine boosts those brain chemicals, and L-tyrosine helps supply the building blocks. That's why it's a go-to in solid focus and pre-workout setups.
  • Good for brain-heavy days, not only workouts — studies check it for alertness, choices under pressure, and stress spots. Makes it handy beyond just lifting.

Who Is This For?

  • Students and desk jockeys handling long focus stretches. As a brain chemical builder, this gives a simple way to stay sharp without a full nootropic pile-on.
  • Lifters who do caffeine but want a clean sidekick. Tyrosine plus caffeine just works: caffeine pushes the chemicals, tyrosine supplies the fuel.
  • Late-day gym folks skipping heavy stims. 500 mg no-caffeine here means lighter focus help or your own small caffeine add-in.
  • Stack builders who hate secrets. One clear ingredient and dose makes mixing with creatine, electrolytes, pumps, or nootropics straightforward.
  • Minimalist types who know their winners. If you skip sweeteners, stims, or filler blends and just want fermented free-form L-tyrosine, this hits.
  • Shift workers and stressed pros needing steady minds over pumps. Tyrosine fits where alertness, choices, and stress handling count.

How to Use

Stir 1 scoop into a bit of water and down it 30-60 minutes before lifting, studying, or anything brain-heavy. It's unflavored pure amino, so shake or stir well for no clumps. Start with 1 scoop to see how it hits, especially with coffee, energy drinks, or stim pres. Pros might double up, but the label's 500 mg, and studies go higher, so adjust thoughtfully. Empty stomach is common for aminos, but with food's okay for comfort. Stacks awesome with caffeine, creatine, electrolytes — no big overlaps. No stim crash worries from tyrosine, so no need to cycle like heavy pres. Keep it sealed in a cool spot, and clumping's normal in no-filler powders.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: don't expect much from L-tyrosine alone at 500 mg — it's not a stim or feel-good hitter. 10-30 minutes: with coffee or pre, that's when you might feel a cleaner mental kick-in, more from the combo than tyrosine solo. 30-90 minutes: it works quietly, backing up focus while your stack handles the upfront stuff. Days 1-7: figure out your sweet spot — solo for light brain help or with caffeine for more punch. Weeks 2-4: no buildup needed, so it's all about smart, steady use for better stacks. Basically, it's for specific spots, not long-term loading.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much L-tyrosine is in each serving?

Each scoop provides 500 mg of fermented L-tyrosine. That is a modest, stack-friendly serving rather than a large standalone clinical dose, which is why many users appreciate it for precision dosing.

Is 500 mg of L-tyrosine a clinical dose?

Not relative to much of the higher-dose literature. Studies in the provided research set used 2 g, 10 g, or bodyweight-based protocols up to 150 mg/kg, so 500 mg is better described as a conservative, useful entry dose for flexible stacking.

What does L-tyrosine actually do in the body?

L-tyrosine is a precursor to catecholamines such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. That is why it is commonly used in formulas aimed at focus, alertness, and stress-demand support.

Will I feel this immediately like caffeine?

Usually not. At 500 mg and with no stimulants in the formula, the effect is typically subtle and more noticeable when stacked with caffeine or used during mentally demanding situations.

Can I stack this with coffee or a pre-workout?

Yes, that is one of the most logical ways to use it. Caffeine promotes catecholamine activity, while tyrosine provides precursor support for catecholamine synthesis, making the combination mechanistically complementary.

Is this a good pre-workout on its own?

Not in the traditional sense. This is not a full pre-workout because it contains no caffeine, pump ingredients, creatine, or endurance support—just L-tyrosine for targeted focus-pathway support.

Do I need to cycle L-tyrosine?

There is no standard requirement to cycle tyrosine the way many users cycle heavy stimulant products. Its use is typically guided by need, stack design, and how often you want extra catecholamine-precursor support.

Are there any fillers or other ingredients in this powder?

No. The formula is just fermented L-tyrosine with absolutely no other listed ingredients, which is a major advantage for users who want a clean stack-building product.

Who should avoid L-tyrosine?

People using MAO inhibitors, individuals with bipolar disorder or related psychiatric conditions, those with a history of melanoma, and pregnant or nursing women should not use it without medical guidance. Thyroid-medication users should also consult a healthcare professional first.

Why choose a powder instead of capsules for tyrosine?

Powder gives you finer control over intake and makes it easier to scale up if you want more than 500 mg. It is also easier to combine into a customized pre-workout or nootropic stack without swallowing multiple capsules.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
