"This piece began as a digital sketch in Adobe Fresco, experimenting with brush textures and fill selections to replicate the mirror-like calm of a mountain lake," says Jordan. "I wanted to capture the warmth of sunset tones—the browns, oranges, and yellows of the horizon—against the silhouette of the pine forest and mountains. It captures that 'goodbye' moment at the water’s edge when you step out of the boat, a moment of beauty that deserves to be carried with you on every journey."
