ALCO-LITE® pumper ladders have been the standard in the industry since 1930 — engineered and manufactured to exacting standards for use on general firefighting trucks and pumper trucks.

An important message to our customers

Due to the size of these ladders, they are susceptible to damage during transit.

Please be sure to inform anyone who may be accepting this shipment that they should carefully inspect the ladders for damage before accepting the shipment or signing the trucker’s bill of lading.

  • Do not allow the trucker to deliver the shipment without first inspecting the ladders.
  • If you find any damage, you are instructed to note damages on the bill of lading and refuse the shipment.
  • If the trucker does not allow you reasonable time to inspect the ladders, you are instructed to refuse the delivery and note the reason on the bill of lading.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any hidden damages. Once you sign the bill of lading and accept the ladders the manufacturer nor we can file any damage claims.

The manufacturer will file all refused damage claims. Replacement of damaged ladders will be handled in the following manner.

  • Stock ladders- Replacement ladders will be shipped as soon as they are available.
  • Special and all non-standard ladders will be repaired and re-shipped as soon as possible.

Our contract with Alco-Lite only permits us to sell these ladders to fire departments. We cannot ship these ladders to industrial, commercial, or private accounts.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
