Designed for homecare use, the ActiveCare bed offers a compact footprint that works well in residential bedrooms while still providing the functionality of a rotating hospital bed. The integrated SafeTurn system helps reduce the need for separate transfer equipment during routine bed exit, while the bed’s stable frame supports controlled positioning and daily caregiver access.
Positioning / Adjustability
All three ActiveCare models include fully adjustable head and knee sections along with the OneButtonSafeTurn assisted exit feature. The Fixed model provides multiple fixed-height options, while the Standard and Deluxe models add full hi-lo adjustability for improved caregiver access. Med-Mizer also lists Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg as optional on Standard and Deluxe models, with battery backup available on Standard and included as a standard feature on Deluxe.
Comfort / Support
The ActiveCare system is designed to support comfort throughout the day, not just during transfers. Full chair positioning helps users sit up for meals, conversation, reading, or daily activities, while the rotating exit sequence supports smoother transitions out of bed.
