The heart-shaped leaves are adorned with magnificent lemon and lime tones mixed in with classic dark green, adding to its already striking appearance. New leaves start off with a lighter and brighter green variegation, and it takes about 6 weeks for the yellow/gold color to develop.

In comparison to the commonly seen 'Albo' variety, Monstera 'Aureas' are known for their slower growth rate and delicate nature. The variegated parts of the leaves are prone to browning, so they require a little more TLC.
