This impressive concert bass drum from Majestic features an innovative shell construction, including 2 interior walnut, 4 exterior maple walls, and a walnut layer shell. The dramatic depth of the ultra-thin maple/walnut Prophonic bass drum is intensified by rounded bearing edges and the low-profile SSB suspension system. The included suspension ring promotes a fuller projection and maximises resonance.

Fitted with a Remo Fibre-skin 3 head, it is design to withstand the rigours of regular performance whilst still producing the quality of tone expected from all Majestic instruments. It is finished with a dark coffee shell finish to give an attractive, professional look.

With an extensive range of sizes available, the Prophonic series bass drum is ideal for school concert bands and ensembles to professional orchestras and recording percussionists. This drum features a concert frame with a lockable 360° tilt angle and double bracing. If you require a field stand with 8" wheels, that is supplied (in a limited range of sizes) with the MFPB Prophonic bass drum range.
