These really cool jute macrame bags are hand knotted in Bangladesh. They are real eye-catching accessories and will attract many complimentary comments and much interest (take my word for it!).  The whole bag is completely covered in string tassels.

Sourced from a Fair Trade Company who work with marginalised communities in Bangladesh. The aim of the company is to not only offer isolated producers a fair wage but also work towards building a long term relationship with the communities, allowing a chance for the workers to make their own way out of poverty.

Available in five different colours - Natural, Chocolate Brown, Light Khaki Grey, Charcoal Grey, Indigo. There is also a larger version available in the Natural and Chocolate Brown colours. These bags are extremely strong and cavernous. A godsend when popping to the shops - no need for a horrible plastic carrier bag! They make wonderful everyday bags, beach bags, market bags...

Verdict: - I’ll be purchasing these again for everyday use and bulk meal prep. The value is strong, and the performance is solid when you match the pan to the job or double up as needed.
