Ruth Lee Fire House Rescue Training Manikin
(All New Fire Resistant Design)

The Fire House Manikins demonstrate a good balance between temperature and abrasion resistance.
The manikin carcass is constructed using heavy duty canvas, reinforced with 38mm Nomex webbing as opposed to the polypropylene webbing found on the general purpose range – standard Polypropylene webbing will go brittle and melt at the high temperatures this manikin is designed to withstand.

The protective overalls are constructed using a Nomex blend material which conforms to EN11612 and offers good protection against high temperatures - it is permanently non-flammable and most commonly used in protective clothing to protect against heat and flames. The protective overalls are also reinforced using Nomex webbing to improve the abrasion resistance and strength – the overalls are fitted using 20mm Kevlar ties, as the standard Velcro fastening melt at these high temperatures. The ends of the arms, which have been identified as a high wear area, are reinforced with 5mm leather to provide extra protection.

The Fire House Manikins are designed to withstand temperatures of 280-320°F (140-160°C), the average temperature at floor height for hot fire cell training and only starts to 'fail' at temperatures in excess of 350°F (180°C). for many hours and are designed for general training in and around fire houses and hot fire cell training. The new manikins are far more robust than the previous FR models and are considerably cheaper. They will of course deteriorate if placed to close to naked flames or used in excessive temperatures, just as any fire kit would!

The dummies are weighted to produce an anatomically correct weight distribution and the 'feel' of an unconscious patient and are available in Youth 44 lbs, Adult 66 lbs , 110 lbs and 154 lbs weights.

Available:
• Weights 44 lbs, 66 lbs, 110 lbs, 154 lbs

*****NOTE******
Ruth Lee is the only manikin manufacturer that provides clothing with their products. All Ruth Lee Rescue Training Manikins include coveralls. Manikins 44 lbs and up also include lug sole boots. None is found on Bullex products; and Simulaids only adds thin gym shorts. While the strength reinforced coveralls protect the manikin, they are not deemed "Wear Proof". Their specific design is to provide a replaceable, washable layer that helps protect the manikin. The coveralls are designed to wear and must be replaced so that the manikin carcass is protected. Use of the manikins should mimic that of dragging a similarly dressed victim. The wear resistance of the coveralls should be considered to be on par with clothing normally worn by the victims. The included coveralls protect the manikin when used during rescue training. The coveralls are not designed to endure the rigors of firefighter drags or physical agility training. The coveralls and boots should be seen as disposable items and should be replaced when showing signs of wear or damage in order to protect the main body of the manikin. Additional clothing is suggested for use in these activities (Even the Combat Challenge dresses their manikins in turnout Gear for this competition). Treat the coveralls as clothing. They are NOT wear proof. Protect your investment.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.
