Those 30 were exhibited in February, 2015 at Archival Gallery in Sacramento, CA. The remaining 21 portraits of women artists are from my archive of artist portraits now numbering almost 300. This project was begun in 1979. The purpose of this catalog and the exhibition it accompanies is to address the need for gender equity in both the world of art and my personal portrait archive.
