This Kidde 120-Volt Hardwired Voice Warning Smoke Alarm with Wire-Free Interconnect and 10-Year Lithium Battery Backup features voice alert, wireless interconnectivity, and a sealed-in 10-Year Backup Battery. This alarm requires hardwire installation and includes a 10-year Battery Backup to provide protection even during power outages. The voice alarm announces "Fire" if a hazard is detected and indicates when the Smart Hush feature has been activated. This alarm interconnects with other Kidde hardwire interconnect alarms and features wire-free interconnectivity with other Kidde 10-Year Wire-Free Interconnect alarms. If one unit is triggered, all interconnected alarms will sound. Wire-free interconnectivity allows for easy interconnect setup and eliminates the need for expensive rewiring.
