SwitchPath™ retains the factory valve behavior and obeys the Golf R’s ECU commands based on throttle input, engine speed, and Drive Select. Sneaking out in the morning or creeping through town? Close the valve. Ready to rip? Toggle into Dynamic and your Golf R will sing a signature AWE tune with enhanced crackles that will provoke a firm grin. And we made it easy to convert between SwitchPath™ and Track Edition if you decide at a later date to change your volume with our Conversion Kit. Easy. AWE SwitchPath™ comes standard with 102mm double-walled, slash-cut tips in your choice of Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, complete with stamped AWE logo. If you're interested in push button mood control beyond what the factory wanted for you... you're in luck. The AWE SwitchPath™ Remote and accompanying control box (both sold separately) overrides the factory valving to allow the exhaust valves, whether it be on the AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust or the stock exhaust, to be opened or closed manually via the SwitchPath™ Remote. Almost Perfect - More Glow Needed!

Pretty good. Like the texture on the bottom of the remote, like a honeycomb. Makes the remote a lot easier to grip and subsequently find. One thing I’d change, I would make it more glow in the dark. It’s sort of glow in the dark, but I want a bright nuclear reaction of glow in the dark. This one just doesn’t have that power. For that, I give it 4 stars, but would buy again.

This case is very nice and adds needed heft to the remote control and is comfortable to hold. I’d opt for a lighter colored one or glow in the dark because it disappears if you set it face down on a dark surface. Lost it a few times until I realized I was doing that… otherwise I’m very happy with this and may even buy an AirTag to pop into the slot. Price is good too.
