Description: The MS1-HDG6 kit features ACT's popular Heavy Duty pressure plate, engineered for high-performance racing. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to enhance clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch longevity. Each diaphragm undergoes a rigorous four-stage heat-treating process for exceptional durability. Precision cover stampings ensure consistent rigidity in ACT pressure plates. The 6-pad, spring-centered race disc is designed with a spring-center to effectively damp torsional vibrations and withstand harsh operating conditions. ACT spring retainers are reinforced with wraparound spring windows and thicker stampings for enhanced support, reduced stress concentrations, and increased reliability. Expect harsher engagement but faster shifting with the 6-pad, spring-centered disc, making it ideal for larger clutch sizes capable of absorbing more heat.
