Joseph Weldon Bailey Hoffman and Versie Mae Stout met in Greer County, Oklahoma in the late 1920s. They were married at the beginning of the Great Depression, and lived through the Dust Bowl of the 1930s in Oklahoma. Wanting a better future, like millions of others, they left the great plains and headed west along the famous Route 66. They did not make it all the way to California, but stopped in the small town of Winslow, Arizona. This book is the story of their lives, and the three generations of ancestors before them. Also included are a few details of more distant ancestors and three short chapters about DNA connections.

My grandchildren will be the tenth generation of our ÒHoffmanÓ family to be born in America. The ÒStoutÓ branch of our family probably arrived almost 100 years before the Hoffmans. IÕve tried to include enough photos, stories, documents, and references to ensure that these past generations will not be forgotten.

Good toy, watch the string part
Good for the price! The rope did end up breaking off because my dogs chewed through it, but my dogs still play with the ball. The ball part can be loud if your dog throws it around on the floor. The ball is super tough and my dogs have yet to chew through it.

DURRABLE BALL
mY LAB/GOLDEN MIX MADE SHORT WORK OF THE ROPE BUT THE BALL IS SOLID. THE BACK COLOR MAKES IT AN INDOOR BALL IN THIS AREA; iT WOULD BE EASILY LOST IN THE BRUSH/WOODS SURROUNDING MY HOUSE.

Dogs love these!
Pros: keeps the dog entertained both solo and tug of war. Super entertaing to watch the dog beat itself half to death with a big grin on it face. Cons: dog will beat everything else to death too. You're basically giving your dog a wrecking ball. Similar to giving rubber nunchucks to a hyper 8yr old kid. If you dont own much nice stuff or you keep it all out of reach you should be fine.
