Active tracking communication between the AT360 and the S8 dramatically reduces re-lock time and improves productivity over passive prism workflows. Active Tracking — Not Just Passive Reflection
The AT360 isn't a standard passive 360° prism — it's an active prism that communicates directly with the S8 via integrated LEDs. The total station identifies and locks onto the AT360 specifically, ignoring stray reflections from windows, vehicles, or other prisms in the area. This is the configuration serious robotic surveyors use because it dramatically reduces false locks and re-lock time, especially in busy jobsite environments.
Paired with the S8's AutoLock and MagDrive servo motors, the total station tracks the AT360 smoothly as the rod operator moves through the site — turning a two-person crew workflow into a one-person operation.

The carbon fiber prism pole and blue carrying bag are included for buyers shipping within the lower 48 United States only. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and international orders ship the package without the pole and bag due to oversize length-based shipping restrictions. The S8 total station, T10 tablet, AT360 prism, batteries, charger, and case all ship worldwide. Prism poles are widely available locally in most regions.
