One of the UK's premiere death metal purveyors of the late '80s and early '90 and responsible for such genre classics as To the Gory End (1990) and Death Shall Rise (1991), Cancer marks 30 years of existence with their sixth full length studio album, reuniting all three original core members - John Walker on guitar/vocals, Ian Buchanan on bass and Carl Stokes on drums - for the first time since 1995. Shadow Gripped features 10 songs of brutal old school death metal, and was recorded at Foel studios, with Simon Efemey (Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, Amorphis) handling production and mixing duties alongside the band.

It's real!

Off white but totally happy. Even though it's wool, it doesn't itch and is very soft. The patches are few and not at all noticeable from front. Very thick and looks great!

Beautiful rug but smelly when you first unpack it.

Beautiful quality. Deep thick fur. The "patches" are noting more than where 4 or 5 inch splits, one at each end were stitched back together. I wouldn't have even called them patches. They are the same stitching as used to join the two pelts in the middle. The color is a very clean white. Being natural pelt, I was really expecting something a little more blond. I've bought New Zealand sheepskin several times before and I don't doubt this is Aussie or Kiwi sheepskin but I didn't notice this is processed in China before I bought it. Still, the only complaint I had was a strange chemical smell when I unwrapped it. It didn't smell like the tanning chemicals from previous pelts. But it's gone away after 3 weeks so I guess all's good.

Definitely genuine pelts.

I like the color. Not too white, more of a natural shade.
I ordered two, for each side of the bed. One is larger than the other which proves they are genuine pelts and I’m ok with it!!
