This LED downlight bundle is perfect for small renovation and construction projects. It includes ten recessed fittings with an IP20 rating, making them suitable for various indoor installations. They feature a fixed gimbal, so ensure you're 100% certain of the placements before trimming the cut-out holes. The downlight is quick and straightforward to install, with a twist-and-lock mechanism and push-fit terminal blocks for easy loop-in/out. It is also mains powered, eliminating the need for an independent driver or transformer.
Our downlight has a sleek matt black finish, suitable for various design schemes such as contemporary, classic, minimalist, rustic, and industrial. It also has an open-can design that ensures the bulb you pair with it will last throughout its long, average lifespan.
This LED downlight works with any GU10 lamp but requires a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch to optimise its dimming function. The GU10 bulb comes in three colour temperatures: cool white, natural white, and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are perfect for task lighting, while warm white light suits ambient lighting.
Our downlight is insulation-coverable, allowing loft insulation to be set loosely over its rear. However, this is only possible when using a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. This insulation helps expel heat rapidly, decreasing warmth in your home and reducing electrical consumption.
In addition, this downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes of protection for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Its intumescent pad expands when exposed to a specific temperature, blocking tiny crevices around it and preventing the fire from spreading.
