GNU Banked Country Snowboard 2026

The GNU Banked Country is a high-speed directional freeride powerhouse conceived by Temple and Cannon Cummins. Featuring a C3 camber profile with subtle rocker between the feet, progressive Magne-Traction edges, and a tapered directional shape, it’s built to slice groomers, slash chunder, and surf pow with unmatched edge control and rebound power.

Why It Works

  • C3 Camber-Dominant Profile: Strong camber zones deliver explosive pop and precision, with a minor rocker midsection for easier turn initiation and maneuverability.
  • Progressive Directional Magne‑Traction: Tapered edge serrations and flared tail geometry improve turn exits and rear control.
  • Directional Shape with Setback & Taper: ~1.5″ setback stance and mild taper enhance float and carve precision in deep or variable terrain.
  • Carbon Power Bands + G Lite 3 Core: High-energy Aspen/Paulownia blend reinforced with carbon for strong pop and stability.
  • Tri‑/Bi‑Axial Fiberglass Laminate: Balanced flex and torsional strength for versatile all-mountain control.
  • Sintered Knife‑Cut Base & UHMW Sidewalls: Durable, fast base and high-impact protection for aggressive riding.

Perfect Match For

Advanced to expert riders seeking a resort-focused charger that slices hardpack, handles pow days, and accelerates through variable terrain. This board combines slalom-level carve precision with freeride float and durability.

The Details

  • Shape: Directional (tapered with 1.5″ setback)
  • Profile: C3 Camber‑Dominant Hybrid with subtle mid‑section rocker
  • Flex: Firm (~6.5‑7/10)
  • Core: G Lite 3 (FSC Aspen/Paulownia + Carbon Power Bands)
  • Glassing: Tri‑Axial & Bi‑Axial Fiberglass
  • Base: Sintered Knife‑Cut
  • Edge Tech: Progressive Directional Magne‑Traction Serrations
  • Setback: ~1.5″ (≈38 mm)
  • Sizes: 155, 159, 162cm

The Difference

The Banked Country fuses the raw carve power of camber with surfy float and fluid responsiveness. It’s stiffer and sharper than most freeride boards and more aggressive than hybrid all-mountain models—perfect for fast laps, banked slalom style runs, or charging when conditions demand confidence.

Bottom Line: The GNU Banked Country is a directional freeride titan—built for precision, pop, and flow on any terrain.

Ride with power and purpose—choose the Banked Country.

Not durable and lasted a week
Size: X-Large(8")
Had it a week and it popped. The durability is not good! It’s not chew resistant, the value for the money is poor! My dogs enjoyed it for the week it lasted it was a good size , however extremely disappointed!

Fun dog toy
Size: Medium(6")
Great ball, easy to use, sturdy toy, and fun toy that dogs love. Only a 4 star as I wish it was a little bit bigger and with more handles.

Nice ball w/straps to grab for ur dog to carry the ball.
Size: Medium(6")
She’s afraid of SO many things. Gotta give her more time. From a hoarding group…so, no socializing. Time will tell. Very nice ball w/ tough straps to grab hold of & carry it.

These are NOT meant for regular play like the other reviews seem to think.
First things first, ignore 90% of these reviews. The reviews saying these balls didn’t last very long clearly don’t know what they’re meant for. These are not “drop and play” kinds of toys. They’re meant to be used as reward toys. Meaning they get used during training sessions for a quick game of tug to reward the dog for good behavior. These are NOT meant for unsupervised play, and not meant for dogs who don’t have reliable recall or drop/Aus commands. That being said, my dog is 95 pounds and stands 29” at the shoulder. She’s a big girl who plays rough. Immediately after opening the package, we did a quick training session with these reward toys. They held up EXTREMELY well. They are made of rubber which means she doesn’t shred them in one short game of tug unlike some of the foam reward toys you will come across. I did have to tighten the knot below the ball before using them, but that’s to be expected with any rope style toy. If your dog does not have a reliable drop command and they are any larger than maybe 25lbs, I would not suggest using the smaller ball. If Nikita didn’t have a reliable drop command, it would be incredibly easy for her to wind up choking on the smaller ball. Even the large ball is pushing it on choking hazard size for a large dog, but again, reliable drop commands are important.
