Before pushing the new rubber feet into position, wipe down the four indentation sockets on the chassis floor with a tiny amount of isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth. Allowing it to dry completely ensure maximum adhesion and a perfect, shift-free fit.
Keep or Remove for Rack-Mounting? If you later decide to transition the EW-D EM into a permanent 1U flight case using the GA 3 rackmount kit, you can leave these low-profile rubber feet attached. However, if space inside your rack is extremely tight and the receiver rubs against hardware directly underneath it, the feet can be easily popped back out to maximize vertical slot tolerance.
