One of only a few hoists on the market that is available in 110v and 230v single phase, the CM Lodestar is the ideal choice for building sites and applications where three phase power is not available.

Rugged Construction: The CM Lodestar has a rugged cast aluminium housing, meaning it’s both lightweight yet durable enough to withstand the rigours of heavy use and harsh industrial environments. Furthermore, the hoist is protected with a corrosion-resistant powder-coating for optimal longevity.

High-Performance Motor: Equipped with a H4 duty motor suitable for heavy-duty applications, the Lodestar has a duty rating of 50% (30 minutes continuous use per hour). Additionally, the motor is fitted with thermal overload protection to prevent unwanted damage from overheating.

Efficient Lifting: Featuring a precision machined and heat-treated gear system ensuring smooth operation, overload protection prevents the hoist from lifting beyond its means.

User-Friendly: An ergonomic pendant control operates the hoist providing optimal safety and comfort, while the adjustable lifting speeds allow operators to customise usage and performance based on their specific requirements.

Enhanced Safety: The CM Lodestar hoist includes a heavy-duty DC brake for secure load holding to ensure your load remains stationary when not in operation. Additionally, integrated upper and lower limit switches prevent the Lodestar from over-travelling protecting from damage.

Mounting Options: The Lodestar can be configured with either a hook or lug suspension making it adaptable to different mounting setups. Furthermore, for applications with limited space, this hoist can be paired with a low-headroom push travel or single phase electric trolley to maximise lifting height.

Monthly Inspection: Inspect load chain for elongation, wear, and adequate lubrication. Test the load brake and ensure correct function. Verify operation of limit switches and pendant controls.

Yearly Inspection: Perform a thorough inspection (only by a trained and competent person) of all hoist components including motor, gearing, and electrical connections. Conduct a load test to ensure hoist can safely maintenance rated capacity. Replace any worn or damaged parts with genuine CM components (available through us) to maintain performance and safety.
