Rally is the hallmark, best known model in the SuperShape E series. Built like Head's World Cup race skis inside, but with a smidge of tip rocker (called Speed Rocker) to help the ski hook up quickly when tipped on edge, and to also smooth our the rolls and bumps a bit as conditions go from groomed to afternoon crud.
Inside the ski, Head's proprietary Energy Management Circuit sets these skis aside compared to other skis in this category. EMC is built around ceramic piezo plates incorporated into the tip and tail sections. The skis vibration (kinetic energy) is converted into electricity. When the ski is on edge, in a turn, this energy is then used to absorb/dampen the vibrations. The result is a ski that is smoother and super stable, requiring less energy from the skier to perform at a higher level.
Rally is factory matched here with the Tyrolia PRD 12 GW binding. The rail system is very wide, very low to the ski and very light weight. Supershape Rally is built specifically to include this PowerRail binding, so this is a truly integrated system from the ground up.
