This Checkers Set is the companion set to the Plastic Chess Set with a 25", 37" or 49" King.
The plastic pieces are made of rugged, waterproof, and UV-resistant injection molded plastic. These are commercial grade checkers and will stand up to years of abuse. The chess set withstands the outdoor elements very well and will retain its color. We have these sets in the heat of the Middle East, the humidity of the Far East, the cold of the Rocky Mountains and the salty air, sun and sand of the Southern California beaches. We have the product in stock, and we can ship immediately. Light enough to take on any outing, you can count on people (especially kids) to walk up and make friends.
The Checker Board is not included in this chess set. We have three excellent checkerboards for this set of checker pieces:
Nylon Checkerboard with 13" Squares—This is a very durable, quick-fold checkerboard with metal grommets in the corners and four metal spikes to hold it in place on grass. It sets up in less than a minute and is best used when you prefer to store the checkers set when not in use.
Plastic Checkerboard with 14" Squares—This is a sturdy interlocking plastic checkerboard that will remain quite solid through play. It takes about 15 minutes to assemble, so it is best used when you want to leave the checkerboard in place.Rubberized Vinyl CheckerBoard with 12" Squares and Safety Edge Ramps—This is our most elegant commercial-grade checkerboard. Again, the Safety Edge Ramps add a finished look to the board while reducing the height at the edge to ground level, thereby reducing trip and fall risks.
