American sizing!

These are great t-shirts and fantastic quality for the price. I bought them for my sons. The cotton is thick and nice-looking, the ivory colour is beautiful and it looks a lot more expensive than it is. I bought one for my eldest son and then bought two more (one for each son). The first one I bought has been getting a lot of wear for about three months. I wash it in the machine and line dry it because we line dry everything where we live. It has held up beautifully, has not shrunk, pilled or changed in any way. The only thing, and it is not a bad thing, per se, is that this is REAL American sizing. We are all tall with broad shoulders, and my eldest is a bit heavy. (Around 1m84 and 105 kg, I'm feeling too lazy to convert it online, but probably in the area of 6'1" or 2" and over 200 pounds.) So I ordered 2XL, which is what he wears in most inexpensive brands we get here. But, although he has been wearing it, as he needed cool-weather clothes, it is long in the sleeves and body and also wide. So I ordered him a second one in XL and he will set the XXL aside until he needs it, or gains weight. I would definitely recommend sizing down from what you usually order. But these are great! The Amazon interface seems to be prompting me to address functionality and cut. The cut is very good, although both large and long. I don't really know what they mean by functionality. It's a t-shirt, not ski wear or running shoes! The cotton fabric is nice and thick and soft. It's comfortable. It definitely works, as a garment. Don't know what else to say! (Just to let you know, I am a real human ordering from overseas. I am not paid or even receiving merchandise in return for this review, although I wouldn't say no if they offered.)

I have purchased several of these long sleeves with pockets in various colors. PROS: First, they are surprisingly high quality for an Amazon Essentials product. The material is thicker than I was expecting. I was looking for a thinner material to wear inside a shirt but I was pleasantly surprised. These are sturdy. I also liked the fact at the sleeve ends don't have elastic. They are straight open and loose allowing for free movement and it doesn't feel constricting. CONS: However, they are all a little short in length. And some colors are shorter than others indicating inconsistency and quality control issues. The burgundy I got was the shortest. Wearing them is a little frustrating as they are always rolling up and drafty especially in cold weather. If they were just an inch or so longer, I would have given 5 stars.
