Size Guide
Our practice Staves come in 100cm, 120cm, 140cm and 160cm standard sizes. As a hybrid staff, we recommend starting with one that reaches from the ground up to just beneath your chin, but you can try shorter for faster spin or longer for slower and smoother flow depending on your style.
Sustainable Dowel Design
Made from 20mm sustainably sourced New Zealand pine dowel. These practice Staves do their bit for the planet by using recycled inner tubes to produce an ideal weight-to-length ratio for beginners and more advanced spinners alike.
Simple Hand-Made Assembly
Each Staff uses strong pine dowelling and the weighted ends are made from recycled inner tubes. Great care is taken when assembling the Staff to ensure you get a well-balanced, durable prop.
Slip-free Grip
Our Staves come with a grip for added control and moisture absorbency, with a UV-reactive marker tape in the centre of the grip to assist with handling accuracy when spinning.
Rotational vs Contact Spinning
Our practice Staves are designed to allow users to try both spinning styles with ease before investing in a fire version. Our Staves are slightly weighted on the ends; not too heavy so changing direction and throws are easy, and not too light, with sufficient grip, making them suitable for basic contact moves.
