This Matfer Bourgeat Stainless Steel Sauce Pan is a part of Matfer’s Excellence Cookware line, which is designed to deliver both a high quality cooking performance and an ergonomic experience resulting in ultimate efficiency and comfort, excellent standards for anyone ranging from professional chef to home cook. This sauce pan is available in a choice of 7 sizes as well as matching lids, all sold separately. Manufactured in France, Matfer’s Excellence cookware is made of a stainless steel body and an aluminum “sandwich bottom” with shape memory, that retains heat to ensure the perfect cooking distribution throughout its skirt and base. This pan has a handle that is insulated in stainless steel tubes, ensuring a cool touch support and ultimately comfortable grip when lifting and pouring. Meanwhile, it’s tapered rim makes pouring drip free and transferring product from pan as easy to use as possible. Its handle is also constructed into the pan watertight, preventing bacteria from being trapped and certifying sanitary and hygienic use. These Hass avocados were excellent quality and arrived fresh with great texture and flavor. They ripened evenly, had creamy smooth insides, and no brown spots or stringy texture like you sometimes get with other avocados.
Perfect for avocado toast, guacamole, salads, or just slicing onto sandwiches. The size was great, and they stayed fresh for several days after ripening. Definitely one of the better avocado purchases I’ve made — I’ll be buying these again!

Smaller than anticipated but perfect size for 1 person. Will buy again! Loved that they put 3 frozen bottled water in the bottom of an insulated bag to keep them fresh since I wasn't home when they were delivered. @68 cents a piece, the value for the money = 100%. Borderline ripe but perfect to use today or in a few days.

Didn’t ripen well for me.

I bought these avocados while they were still very green, hoping they would ripen at home. Unfortunately, when they did soften, the inside had dark spots and didn’t look fresh. The texture wasn’t what I expected either.
I’m not sure if it was just this batch, but the ripening process didn’t turn out well for me.
