This Black Bull branded barrier with underrun protection offers the same excellent protection as the standard 76mm Black Bull Hoop Barrier but adds a 4mm steel plate between the legs. This reinforcing plate protects equipment and personnel from pallet trucks and forklift prongs.
The standard hoop barrier is ideal for protecting from flat-sided objects such as pallets and rears of forklift trucks. The addition of the steel underrun plate on this barrier ensures that longer low-level intrusions are blocked. This low-level protection can prevent damage to equipment and even broken legs and ankles in the worst scenario.
This barrier is available in a bright yellow powder-coated finish with contrasting black bands as per the standard version. However, unlike the standard variant, this underrun protection hoop barrier is only suited for indoor use as there is no galvanised coating on the steel. Installation is easy as this protection guard is bolted to the floor through its 10mm thick base plates (fixings available here).
