The growing season leading to harvest was cooler than average, with a wet spring leading to delayed budburst. In October there was a severe hail event affecting some vineyards, thankfully ours in the Southern Barossa were missed. Throughout the ripening season temperatures were mild allowing steady ripening. The wines from 2022 show great aromatics, flavour intensity and balanced acid.
