The Entertainers, a South Carolina soul band led by singer Earl Dukins, released their first single 'Livin' For The Summer' in 1980, which became a smash hit. Their first album, released in 1983, is now reissued for the first time with an obi. The album includes well-chosen covers like Chai Lights' 'Hot On A Thang', Bobby Patterson's 'I'm in Love with You', Turley Richards' 'I Won't Cry Anymore' and 'What Are We Gonna Do'. The album also features original songs such as the gorgeous string-tinged middle tune 'I'm Leavin' and 'Livin' For The Summer', all filled with modern soul and an exhilarating blue-eyed soul - AOR feel!
