The Bradley SA70-001360 is a straight security grab bar that measures 1-1/2 inches in diameter. The bar is 36 inches long. The grab bar is crafted from 18-gauge stainless steel tubing that has an attractive satin finish to cut down on fingerprints, while still giving the unit an attractive gleam. At either end of the grab bar is a flange that is 3-1/8 inches in diameter. Each flange is made from type-304 stainless steel that of 13-gauge thickness and securely herliarc welded to the stainless steel tubing for maximum strength. The grab bar is outfitted with closure plates, which are fashioned out of 11-gauge stainless steel. Once installed, the grab bar mounting hardware remains exposed. Installation is accomplished via two countersunk holes in each flange and torx head screws, which are included with the unit. When installed properly, the grab bar complies fully with ADA and other barrier-free accessibility guidelines.
