Set in the troubled port town of Saltmarsh, this box adds an overarching campaign of linked scenarios plus options to play your favorite adventures as one-shots using heroes from any existing Adventure System game. You’ll explore tile-based dungeons, fend off Sahuagin raids, navigate traps and spells, and level up your characters as you push back threats on land and sea. A special town-defense mode uses a fixed Saltmarsh map, challenging you and up to four other players to protect villagers against waves of enemies, with an Adventure deck driving new twists each round. The Standard Edition includes unpainted Sahuagin miniatures and a variety of new tiles and tokens, ready to mix into your existing sets for even more replayable scenarios.
