COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Principles of Vocational Pedagogy course. This program is developed for vocational education and training (VET) professionals seeking to enhance their pedagogical understanding and improve learning outcomes across diverse VET contexts.

Through this course, you will explore the foundations, dimensions, and applications of vocational pedagogy and gain the tools to design, deliver and evaluate learning that is authentic, effective, and responsive to the needs of learners and industry.

We begin by defining vocational pedagogy and examining its development within the context of national curricula, industry standards, and real-world applications. You will learn how to identify desired learning outcomes for vocational education and how to align them with the three major categories of VET—namely, education for, about, and through work. This mapping process will support you in making informed pedagogical decisions that serve both learners and employers.

The course presents a structured process for developing vocational pedagogy, including ten dimensions of decision-making that influence educational design. These include learner needs, learning environments, sequencing, assessment strategies, and more. You will also explore a wide variety of learning and teaching methods, ranging from traditional strategies such as learning by listening and reflecting, to more interactive and applied approaches like simulation, feedback, coaching, enquiry-based learning, and peer-to-peer teaching.

Throughout the course, you will examine how each method functions in practice and when it is most effective. Emphasis is placed on core vocational learning processes including learning by watching, imitating, practising, and problem-solving. You will also explore the role of real-world contexts, feedback mechanisms, critical thinking, sketching, competitions, virtual environments, and informal learning pathways.

Importantly, you will also learn how to map pedagogical methods against vocational education goals and learner profiles, and consider the pedagogical implications of incorporating simulations, games, and role-play. The course reinforces the idea that vocational pedagogy must be deeply connected to the purpose of VET itself: preparing learners to perform confidently and competently in real or simulated work environments.

As we progress, you will reflect on essential questions required for the development of a personal or institutional theory of vocational pedagogy. You will explore the meaning of vocational education, the scope and essence of vocational practice, and the significance of context in instructional design. The course concludes with a framework for designing vocational pedagogy that is grounded in purpose, flexible in method, and deeply informed by practice.

By the end of this course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and insight to make well-reasoned pedagogical decisions, align teaching strategies with vocational outcomes, and contribute meaningfully to the continuous improvement of VET practice.

Great product!
Color: Medium, Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Really wish I had found this sooner. We spend a lot of time outdoors for baseball and this is perfect for the hot summers. I put this on with a little blush and it looks better than my foundation and protects my skin. Isn’t greasy like regular sunscreen. Skin isn’t dry after wearing either.

Don’t order from this company if you need your things in a few days, I ordered prime almost 4 days ago and it’s now saying it’s delayed until July 5th… WTH! I should’ve been told sooner so I could buy from another company

Doesn’t stink, not super thick and minimal white cast
Color: Medium, Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The product is a lot thinner than other sunblocks. VERY creamy! The tint is sheer but it’s less sheer than I actually thought. Which is fine bc I’ll use it as more natural makeup in the summer time if I go anywhere. It’s not so much that you can tell either though! My sister who sees me every single day told me my skin looked “very youthful” today and didn’t know it was tinted spf. She had smelled my face when I wore another spf and had agreed the other one STUNK so badly but we didn’t smell anything on this one. I am fairly light but I got the medium based on reviews I searched for on tiktok. I figured the white cast would lighten it up somehow but there is NO WHITE CAST! But the color is still fine bc it isn’t chalky like la Roche posay tinted liquid spf. This is very natural! When I applied this product it looked SO SHINY. I almost regretted it…. But 20-30 min later (I applied it then immediately drove 15 min to my sisters house) the product had set and it has a much more natural and dewy but not crazy oily finish. I love it so far. I do consider myself to have very sensitive dry/combo skin and am in the process of repairing a damaged skin barrier. This didn’t itch or burn or anything. I did notice it started pulling after rubbing it in so much but I did kinda rush my morning routine this morning. I’ll update if it wasn’t my bad. Update: it’s been 5 hrs since I applied it. It’s definitely not going to be doubling as a moisturizer. I don’t feel like it’s dehydrated but it’s not moisturizing like other sun screen has been. But maybe just expected it to since it’s cerave but it’s not marketed as such. But that’s ok with me bc I’m more worried about the SPF part of the product. Shade: at first I didn’t notice bc I was just indoors…. But it has enough tint for someone to notice the change in skin tone between my face and body so now I’m going to need to order the light one

Outstanding sunscreen.
Color: Medium, Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I just ordered my second bottle of this sunscreen. I live in Florida so sunscreen is a big necessity. Love it. The little tint is perfect and it feels great. It is not overly greasy. I do apply a little powder and a little blush then I’m on my way out the door. I highly recommend this product.

The perfect summer tint with SPF protection
Color: Medium, Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I am really enjoying this CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen! I am always on the hunt for products that give me a quick, healthy glow without having to put on a full face of makeup, especially during the summer, and this completely hits the mark for easy coverage. The texture is beautifully lightweight and glides on so smoothly. I was honestly a bit nervous that it would leave that heavy, sticky, suffocating feeling that so many sunscreens do, but it is completely non-greasy. Plus, a huge win for me is that after wearing it for hours, it doesn't migrate or burn my eyes at all. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is the shade range. I picked up the Medium tint, and while I can definitely make it work for the summer when I have a bit more color, I really wish they offered an "in-between" shade option between Light and Medium. If you're looking for a comfortable, daily SPF that lets your skin breathe while evening out your complexion, this is a fantastic staple to have in your routine!

Go-To for Reef-Safe & Light-Weight Sunscreen
Style: SPF 50 Roll On, Size: 3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Favorite sunblock to travel with. Appreciate the simplicity of it, and the fact that it rolls on and rubs in smooth. Of course the iconic scent is also a plus.
