The Elite RIO Gold has a taper design that gives incredible loop stability at distance and a front taper that delivers perfect presentation of flies between sizes #2 and #22. With a long head and back taper this line is an excellent all around fly line on rivers and lakes when long casts and complete line control are required.
This line is built with RIO's low-stretch ConnectCore Plus, resulting in exceptionally smooth, durable fly lines, with the added benefits of incredible levels of sensitivity when casting and fishing, and providing enhanced detection of takes, faster hook sets, and far greater control when playing a fish.
Low-stretch ConnectCore Plus provides a radical increase in line durability, coating smoothness and overall performance. ConnectCore Plus stretches 30% less than standard cores, and gives anglers all the benefits of a low-stretch core—enhanced
sensitivity, less wasted energy and faster hook set with a significantly longer lifespan. It also allows hand stretching to easily remove memory coils for a more direct connection to fish and fly. The highest performing, longest-lasting freshwater lines in the world are built around ConnectCore Plus.
In addition, this line is built with SlickCast, RIO's proprietary coating technology, creating the slickest, most durable fly lines on the market. Lab tests show that lines built with SlickCast have the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line.
The slick coating also allows anglers to fish more effectively as line slides out of the guides with less friction for extended drag-free drifts. Additionally, SlickCast continuously releases essential slickening agents that migrate to the line’s surface. This ensures that the line remains as slick as the day it was made giving anglers many years of high performance and easy distance. As for durability, SlickCast’s proprietary formulation produces the toughest and most durable fly line coating in the world. Lab tests show that a line built with SlickCast lasts 140% longer in abrasion testing and lasts 33% longer when testing a fly line for cracking, that is one tough fly line.

Works great for scent work! Bounce is great for air retrieve!

My dog doesn’t know he loves them yet but I do! They are a little softer so when we do air retrieve, I don’t have to worry as much about his teeth! I’m hoping he will learn to find them by smell vs sight. We often play in the evenings and he tends to loose his ball. Love chuck it! Right now, we have about 10 chuck it balls! The tennis balls don’t work for air retrieve! Chuckit does!!! Love the thrower too! Saves my arm!!!!

I guess the smell is offputting

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs

These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch.
These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds.
The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!

My dogs favorite balls

These are great for my dog who always has to have a ball in her mouth. Not too hard so I don't have to worry about her teeth. They last for ever. They do lose their shape a little over time (like I said, she always has a ball in her mouth) they become a little oval in shape. They still bounce, she still chases it and she still chews on it so I don't think she notices or cares. I've gotten her a bag full of these over time and I have only seen one that she chewed a chunk out.
