The black Revo ST-500 Handheld Video Stabilizer , with green accents, is a handheld camera support device designed for shooting smooth, shake-free video. Once mastered, camera operators can use the ST-500 to create fluid, "floating" camera movements, even when walking or running. The ST-500 has a max capacity of approximately 2.2 lbs, which makes it ideal for compact cameras, small camcorders, action cameras, and small DSLRs.
The ST-500 employs a ball joint gimbal, which isolates the camera from incidental twisting and wobbling motions. Proper balance can be adjusted using the 3-piece counterbalance weight set, which attaches via a sliding bracket. In addition, a circular bubble level helps users to fine tune their adjustments. The metal handle supports one-handed operation, although two hands are recommended for optimal control.
