At 12 inches away, the Flamingo II delivers 10,000 Lux of bright white light from two 18 Watt LED bulbs. With its modern design, it is the perfect therapy lamp for any lounge area, waiting room or office work space. It comes with a very long, heavy duty power cord for easy placement and any extra cord can be hidden in the base of the lamp. As a result, you’ll have a sleek and tidy look. The distance from your eyes to the lamp is important. For instance, at 10-12 inches away the Flamingo II delivers 10,000 Lux and should be used for 20-30 minutes each day. While at 18 inches it delivers 5,000 Lux and should be used for one hour each day, preferably in the morning. The treatment works through the eyes, but does not require looking directly into the light.
