Rare Scavo Glass Vase with Verdisgris Bronze base | Art DecoStunning vintage art deco style vase with a bold patinated bronze zig zag base. Likely produced in Italy in the 1980s using a "scavo" decorating glass making technique where salts and ashes are fused together to the surface of the glass to create the rough textured looking and feeling on this cup shaped glass shade. Likely hand blown glass. The glass is translucent and can make a great candle holder allowing the light to flicker through beautifully.
