EveryDay Breastplate Black PThe "Everyday" breastplate in oiled leather is a deep three point breastplate with side attachment to the saddle. A soft withers pad prevents chafing on the mane. Double elastic inserts along the shoulder provide sufficient freedom of movement for the horse without letting the saddle slip backwards. A special feature is that the breast girth strap is adjusted at the front of the chest, so that there is no need to fiddle around under the horse's belly.

The lower girth attachment is achieved by means of a small leather loop or removable carabiner. This way you have fewer loops and buckles, which significantly reduces the risk of threading. The buckles have soft leather pads.What is oiled leather?
Oiled leather is vegetable tanned and has its natural grain. It is treated with high quality oils during the tanning process, making it very soft as well as water and dirt repellent. This keeps the leather supple, hard-wearing and easy-care for a long time.

Perfect fit every time

These original 874’s are the real deal. Stocked up during the sale and got them for my husband. He loves all the colors and the durability of these pants is incredible. He still has some from 14 years ago!
But he wanted a few new ones- and they had more colors so I stocked up and surprised him when I told him how much they cost during the sale.
These pants never wrinkle. I wash them hot and air dry- no wrinkling or shrinking. They look great. They’re sewn to perfection. The quality is there and has been for years, a reason my husband only wears these.
Quality, value, durability, style, fit. Great for all seasons, they’re not too heavy or too light. Great functionality- pockets for everything . Great even in summer - they are very breathable. Perfect fit every time. Great for heavy road construction or just going for a hike.

Run small, size it up

They go small, Im 5'8", 165lbs, usually 32x30 fits just rigth in most brands Levis, Izod, whatever, can't even close the zipper on this one, my dingus prints in the front if I manage to close it, I will try a 34 or even 36, if you want one, size it up. Length is right.
Anyway, the pant is good, sturdy looking material, is not soft but nothing uncomfortable probably gets right after break it in, reinforced stitches on pockets. I think they would work great for a technician, salesman or an engineer, those jobs where you have to look like a human being with a polo shirt but sometimes needs to do something without ripping your pants while crouching or for daily abuse of the regular Joe, will try another that fits
