There are no noticeable dents or signs of crushing.
All external facing screws present and tightened.

Fully functional apart from the Volume Up / Volume + button does not respond.
Confirmed that it's possible to increase the volume by using an inline remote control (confirmed using RM-MC33EL). Left the device at around 50% volume output.

The Sony MZ-EH50 is a Hi-MD compatible MiniDisc player. It is fully compatible with standard MiniDisc media. It is dedicated to disc playback, and does not have disc recording functionality.
Released in 2005, it weighs 80 grams without a battery or disc installed.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
