With six collotype plates from drawings by British painter Rex Whistler, printed after his untimely death during the Second World War. Collated, complete.

Included are pieces by Lord Chesterfield, John Gay, Oliver Goldsmith, Thomas Parnell, R.B. Sheridan, and James Thomson. There is a long section at the back which cites the sources for each of the selected love poems, most of them being the first editions. The six collotype plates after drawings by Rex Whistler were printed at the Ganymed Press.
