We were inspired by the fact that lavender is the national flower of Portugal and so it seemed fitting to explore patterns with this flower in mind. The mono weight line quality is delicate and reflects the free-flowing movement found in numerous tile paintings. The deeply saturated color of urchin and grey green grounds the illustration while the bright accents of glaze blue keep this collection feeling sporty and merchandisable.
