Frame made of chromed steel tubes, also available with black powder coated finish. The armchair is upholstered with polyurethane foam and fibre polyester. Bibendum has rounded shapes with rubber bands that divide the armchair and provide padded circular tubes on top of each other. Upholstery is available in a choice of several colors in leather

Bibendum is an elegant armchair despite its robust design. Despite being over 90 years old, Bibendum is still immensely popular and a perennial favourite. We are more than happy to furnish our exhibition with the armchair and pay tribute to the unique design language it and Eileen Gray stand for. The armchair was named after the Michelin tube from the French company Michelin, whose shape Eileen Gray used as inspiration for her armchair.
