Ariana is a rare breed - a Leicester Longwool. This breed of sheep was raised in colonial America and the breed headquarters are located at Colonial Williamsburg. Ariana is one of our flock's grandmothers. This beautiful multicolored ewe is very patient with the younger sheep. The large crimp of her fleece produces a very "lively" yarn that is more coarse in diameter but still soft.
