Besonderheiten: Dieser außergewöhnliche Single Malt Whisky wurde am 13. September 1979 in der renommierten Ardbeg-Destillerie auf Islay destilliert und reifte über beeindruckende 40 Jahre in einem Bourbonfass. Abgefüllt wurde er am 18. Juni 2020 von Signatory Vintage in Fassstärke mit 56,8% Vol. Die Abfüllung ist auf lediglich 82 Flaschen limitiert, was sie zu einer wahren Rarität für Sammler und Kenner macht. Zudem wurde der Whisky weder gefärbt noch kühlgefiltert, was seine Authentizität und Tiefe unterstreicht.
Tasting Notes:
- Nase: Ein intensiver Duft von cremigem Teer, begleitet von reichhaltigem Torfrauch, Seetang und getrockneten Kräutern.
- Gaumen: Kraftvoll und dynamisch, fast sirupartig, mit Aromen von schwarzem Pfeffer, Teer, Sattelleder und Holzharzen.
- Abgang: Ein langanhaltender, würziger Nachklang mit Noten von Teer, Pfeffer sowie klassischen maritimen und medizinischen Akzenten, die sehr nuanciert zur Geltung kommen.
Destillerie/Abfüller: Ardbeg ist eine der bekanntesten Brennereien Schottlands, berühmt für ihre kräftigen und rauchigen Single Malts. Die Destillerie liegt an der Südküste der Insel Islay und blickt auf eine bewegte Geschichte zurück. Nach einer schwierigen Phase in den 1980er Jahren wurde Ardbeg 1997 von Glenmorangie übernommen, was zu einer Renaissance der Brennerei führte. Signatory Vintage, der Abfüller dieses Whiskys, ist ein unabhängiger Abfüller, der für seine hochwertigen Single Cask Abfüllungen bekannt ist.

A Phenomenal, Fresh Take on Spider-Man
Format: Paperback
As a lifelong Spider-Man fan, I’ve read countless iterations of the character, but Jonathan Hickman’s Ultimate Spider-Man is something truly special. The story is original, bold, and absolutely phenomenal, breathing new life into the mythos while still respecting what makes Spider-Man great.
Hickman has long been one of my favorite writers—his work on X-Men, House of X, and Secret Wars was groundbreaking, and he brings that same level of depth and world-building here. The storytelling is sharp, layered, and gripping from the very first page.
And the artwork is absolutely stunning. Every panel is beautifully crafted, capturing the emotion, action, and energy of Spider-Man’s world in a way that makes it impossible to put down.
This is exactly the kind of fresh, innovative storytelling I was hoping for. If you’re a fan of Spider-Man or Hickman’s work, this is a must-read. I can’t wait to see where this series goes next!

Finally Peter gets to grow up
Format: Kindle
Amazing art and story that is down right fun to read. Fans finally get to see the adult Spiderman deal with crime, bad guys and of course his family- the wife and kids.
Its also gives a new spin on all of Spiderman’s cast of both friends and enemies.
Don’t pass up on this one.

Fantastic Fresh Take!

Im surprised this book has not been spoiled all over the internet, with how phenomenal and unique it feels to read!
This has been the best in the Ultimate universe in following up the Ultimate Invasion short series that kickstarted this universe!
Hickman's found a way to nuance Peter's dialogue for the older and less experienced age he is coming in with! The fights and exchanges are oddly unlike any of the millions of takes on this character.
The stakes and surrounding family feel new and so exciting to read!
Humongous fan of the morals being touted and explored here!
The book always looks incredible!

Unbelievably Mind Blowing
NO SPOILERS REVIEW!!
I just do not have words to describe this comic novel. I may need too much words to put forth my review about this book.. but then I do not want to spoil anything for the readers. So let me try....
Story
Amazingly written and I am not surprised one bit getting such a brilliant story telling coming from none other than Greg Rucka and perfectly carried in the illustration by J.H. Williams III. More on the art later below.
The story is completely captivating. It just absorbs the reader in for it has a huge number of WOW moments and of course the highly looked upon origin of Batwoman. No Batwoman is nothing like any others in the Bat family and definitely not an ordinary vigilante. She has perfect reasons and motives to serve as the Gotham's new protector.
Rucka's attention to details is remarkable. There is an explanation to what the colors of her suit means, when, how and where does all her tech come from, whats the material her suit is made of, etc. Kate Kane is depicted so beautifully with her life swinging between her emotions, stress, career and issues relating to her sexuality that I gained instant respect and attachment to the character. Greg Rucka has not only presented certain things about our society but also passed on a fully modern moral take on it. I am very very happy that I picked this book up & I recommend this book to everybody out there, not just comic readers but also who never have ready any comic till date! This book is HUGE I tell you!!!
Keep in mind that initially this story has some spinning that you may not fully get but read on and the revelations will take you by surprise I tell you!
And oh by the way - This has one of the best Batman appearances ever - IMO.
Art
I am spellbound by the painted art form of illustration used in this book. I have very rarely seen this kind of art (except for Batwoman New 52) where the panels are simply afloat and do not confine to any particular shape. There are pages where the entire spread is showing you some parts of the past while some small nearly bat shaped floating panels show events occurring in present - How cool is that! I do not have to tell you much as you might probably have already googled the images.
Plus - There is a very cool introduction by in the beginning of the book by a non comic industry figure & super cool Batwoman/ Kate Kane art concepts at the last few pages followed by lovely variant cover gallery at the end!!
Simply eye popping and I do not want to say more - just go and grab this book!!!!
This book truly deserves 5 stars!!
