Pundmann Druckboiler mit einem Fassungsvermögen von 3,6,9 Litern sind Geräte, die dazu bestimmt sind, Wasser zu erwärmen und mit einem Betriebsdruck von 2,3 bar zu speichern. Bei einem Betriebsdruck von 2,3 bar steht das Wasser im Kessel unter konstantem Druck, wodurch es seine Temperatur über einen längeren Zeitraum halten kann. Nach dem Einschalten des Stroms beginnt der Elektroerhitzer mit der Erwärmung des Wassers und schaltet sich automatisch ab, wenn die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht ist. Ihre geringe Größe und einfache Bedienung machen sie sehr praktisch und funktionell.
