Der Spitzhammer wurde aus sorgfältig gehärteten (Spitze und Kopf wurden nach dem Ausglühen in kaltes Öl getaucht) Picard-Stahl gefertigt. Der Kopf ist schwarz pulverlackiert und wurde korrisionsgeschützt gefertigt. Der Kopf ist mit einem Ringkeil an dem runden Eschenstiel welcher aus geschmiedeten Federn besteht befestigt. Dank eines Gewichts von nur 450 Gramm ist ein langes und angenehmes Tragen am Gürtelbund gewährleistet. Der Hammer wird vorrangig zur Befestigen und Schlagen von Nagellöchern an Schieferplatten benutzt.
